Nvidias acquisition of Arm is reportedly being delayed by anti-trust regulators in China.

As reported by The Information, competition regulators havent started formal review of the acquisition.

According to insiders, the review process of the deal can take up six months and due to the size of the purchase it may go through multiple reviews.

It is unknown as to why the review of the acquisition is being delayed.

The Information said that one possibility maybe that two licensees of ARM, Huawei and ZTE dont agree with the deal.

In February Nvidias deal came under fire by both Microsoft and Google, with concerns that the tech company could limit the supplies to its products.

In June, Qualcomm expressed interested in potentially buying stake in Arm if the company goes public instead of being sold to Nvidia.
